Tour Descriptions

 Bannerman’s Castle tour – The most natural and rewarding way to experience this Hudson River landmark.  Paddle to Pollepel Island, home of Bannerman’s Castle!  This paddling trip includes a walking tour of the island with knowledgeable staff from the Bannerman’s Castle Trust, the wonderful organization in charge of preserving this treasure.

This is a long day on the water (5 hours of solid paddling) so we recommend you have some solid paddling experience to handle the mileage.  Beginners, athletes and adventurers welcome but NO whining, you have been warned.

  ***Fall Foliage Tours*** – Come to the Hudson Valley at the most beautiful time of year.  There is no better vantage point than the seat of a kayak.  Looking up into the mountains that are full of beautiful fall colors. See the Denning's Point tour for more details. Keep an eye on the weather and dress appropriately! It is possible that the tour could be canceled do to cold weather!

 Denning’s Point – In the spring of 1781, with the American Revolution still raging, Alexander Hamilton stayed in his rented home on Denning’s Point and turned out thoughts for our future as an independent nation.  His “Federalist Papers” would become part of the foundation of or nation.  Today it is a beautiful and prominent feature along the Scenic Hudson Valley.  We will tuck in behind the point and travel into the Fishkill Creek.

 Fireworks Tour – Come join us on the 4th as we paddle up and under the Newburgh Beacon Bridge than get the best seats in the house for the Independence Day fireworks on the Hudson!

Group Paddle- Weather permitting, we launch from the Beacon waterfront, enjoy a nice leisurely paddle on the Hudson. We chose different destinations every week so check out our facebook page for updates. This is a great intro to kayaking!
